Updates.....

Finally moved into the new house last month.

No more shuttling between the two houses every week.

The best thing about the new place, nearest NTUC Fairprice open for 24hrs.

First in S'pore *i think*

Hubby got into permanent service.

No more on standby.

And......

I quit my new job after a month.

So now, I am a housewife *no, not the desperate kind, thank you*.

First time in 10yrs I am without a job.

Altho colleagues at the new place were all great, too bad the working environment sucked.

It's toooooo quiet and restrictive.

Totally different from what I was told when I went for the interview.

Two weeks ago, for one week, there wasn't any visitors.

No visitors, no paperwork to file.

All I did was sit around.

Staring at the walls.

We all sat/slept.

Staring at the computer/walls/windows from 8.30am to 5pm.

Read Enid Blyton books.

Played PSP.

So after much thought, I decided quit and look for another job.

Although the pay is good, sometimes it's too good to be true.

Oh, on my last day, I found out two senior staffs from my department were also leaving.

Including me, there were 4 only staffs in my department.

So yeah.....

I spent my days watching TV, sending out my resumes, vacuuming, mopping......

Just like your typical housewife.......
